Climate & Growing Conditions
Parramatta is located in the geographical centre of Sydney and at the end of the Parramatta River. Our Sydney landscape designers have extensive experience in providing affordable garden plans for residents in Parramatta. Rainfall averages around 970mm of rainfall annually. January to March are the wettest months of the year. Temperature extremes range the low 40s in summer to freezing in winter. Frost is quite rare in the council area.
Plants from Zone 3 and Zone 4 can be used when selecting plants using the Landscape Design Sydney Plantfinder
