Corymbia ficifolia, also known as Red Flowering Gum is small to medium sized tree. During the summer months, the tree is covered in a extravagant display of brightly coloured flowers. There are number of different coloured varieties ranging from pink to orange and red. The tree grows best in well drained sandy soils.
